What does "cents" mean?
A cent is one hundredth of a semitone. Staying within 10 cents of the target is generally heard as in tune, which is why the tool uses that as its threshold.
Why does my score drop when I change notes?
The score measures how steadily you hold pitch. Moving between notes causes a natural dip while your voice settles, so a small drop is expected.
Is my recording stored?
No. The microphone stream is analysed in real time and then discarded. Nothing is recorded or uploaded.
Do I need a good microphone?
A laptop or headset microphone is plenty. Headphones help, because they stop the sound of the tool itself from bleeding back into the mic.
